#Gibson j 200 in red full#
Includes a Martin Thinline Gold Plus Pickup System which was designed by Martin and Fishman to replicate the sound of a full bodied acoustic, without the feedback problems inherent to other systems. This Gibson SJ-200, straight out of the Gibson Custom Shop, is a fantastic acoustic with plenty of character and tonal variety. A big, boisterous voice that can match other inherently louder instruments is the cornerstone of this guitar, ideal for bluegrass and country, but equally suited for rock and folk tunes. Here in Very Good condition, it does have quite a bit of finish checking and a few minor dings, but is otherwise an incredibly nice guitar - and it sounds phenomenal. This guitar pickguard is easy to fit to your guitar with its self-adhesive backing and will both look great and protect your instrument for years to come. The scale length is 25 1/2" while the nut width is 1.725". Gibson J-200 Acoustic Guitar Pickguard Scratchplate This is a Gibson J-200 Acoustic Guitar Pickguard & Scratchplate hand cut out of Red Tortoise material 0.6mm (0.025') thick. It has a three-piece Maple neck with a Rounded profile that's incredibly comfortable, as well as a Rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets that are extremely clean. The SJ-200 Studio is the lowest model in the line, featuring walnut rather than maple back and sides, chrome hardware, a plain pickguard, natural finish and no fingerboard binding, but it retains the inlays and electronics of the J-200 Standard. I did have one in koa and sitka from a small run done in 1995, too, and that is essentially what I based my Custom ordered J-200 Elite on. Gibson currently makes many variations of the J-200. Introduced in 1937, Gibsons Super Jumbo-sized acoustic essentially took the dreadnought and made it even bigger and bolder. Edit: I should clarify that I have a J-200 (Elite) in koa with a red spruce top, but it is a Custom Shop built guitar, not one from a small run. Here with a AAA-grade Sitka Spruce top and Eastern Curly Maple back and sides, it's loaded with fine appointments to accompany its stellar tone: tortoiseshell pickguard with Floral and Vine engraving double-ring rosette triple top binding and double back binding mother-of-pearl crown fingerboard inlays and mother-of-pearl mustache-style bridge inlay. This used Custom Shop Gibson SJ-200 from 1998 is a guitar of epic proportions - both in tone and volume. Introduced in 1937, Gibson's Super Jumbo-sized acoustic essentially took the dreadnought and made it even bigger and bolder. 1938 to 1940s model could also have a black case with a red strip around the outside lid. Also sold a cardboard aligator case for those on a budget. The mid-line case was a brown hardshell with a green or brown lining. Case: Brown hardshell case with a pink lining was the top-end Gibson case. Has had a neck set that was done very well and new bridgeplate to correct specs. This used Custom Shop Gibson SJ-200 from 1998 is a guitar of epic proportions - both in tone and volume.
